Judo is an Olympic sport and Japanese martial art based on grappling.

In judo, practitioners, known as judokas, compete against each other with the objective to throw, pin, or submit their opponent.

Instructors

We incorporate Brazilian jiu-jitsu into our instruction to complement judo groundwork, as both disciplines share common history, foundational skills and techniques.

Judo teaches body awareness and core grappling skills for self defence.

Although judo is a contact sport, it is safe for both children and adults due to the emphasis on learning and practicing how to fall.

Judo is for everyone.

Due to the wide variety of techniques, people of any size and strength can learn judo.
